IberEspacio supplies thermal control hardware and engineering solutions for satellites and spacecrafts. We manage the complete project chain including concept design, trade-offs, final design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, final integration and flight operation support.

IberEspacio also supports customers in the requirement definitions and breakdown from system level to unit level as well as assists them to find the best design solution for thermal control challenges.

1989

IberEspacio establishes as a joint venture between SEP, EPTISA, GHESA and TRSA companies.

2007

The X-ray and Gamma ray astronomical satellite AGILE is launched with IberEspacio MLI technology.

2008

IberEspacio becomes a 100% Spanish-owned private company part of the group Empresarios Agrupados.

2009

IberEspacio qualifies Deployable Thermal Radiators for Space Systems Loral.

2011

Delivery of Loop Heat Pipes to Space Systems Loral for Intelsat 19 telecommunications satellite.

2013

AlphaSat laser optical communications terminal tests succeed with IberEspacio Thermal Control technology.

2015

IberEspacio delivers the North/South panels to Space Systems Loral for BRIsat telecommunications satellite.

2016

IberEspacio inaugurates its new world-class facilities at Torrejon de Ardoz, Madrid.

2006

IberEspacio qualifies as a supplier of products for thermal control systems and spacecraft propulsion.

2007

IberEspacio delivers first units of Heat Pipes and Loop Heat Pipes for the International Space Station.

2009

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) selects IberEspacio as Heat Pipes furnisher.

2010

Hispasat 1E satellite is launched with IberEspacio Thermal Control System CREW.

2011

Integration and delivery of Galileo Thermal Subsystems for OHB.

2013

Delivery of Thermo-Structural panels to Space Systems Loral for Intelsat 31 telecommunications satellite.

2016

BRIsat satellite, manufactured by Space Systems Loral, is launched with IberEspacio Thermo-Structural Panels.
